Australia and New Zealand have very well developed fishing industries. Our principal of Amplios Consultants, Wilson Fyffe, was engaged to provide organization development and performance improvement services at one of the substantial builders of fishing industry vessels in Western Australia.

The long term market for construction of fishing boats was influenced by the potential catch in the waters of both Western Australia and the Northern Territory, particularly the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Market research was conducted by consultation with the state government fisheries authorities and with the major private fishing fleet owners.

Our subject matter expert in the international fishing industry is Graeme Stewart, immediate past CEO of the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council. Graeme is based in Perth and very well experienced in international assignments.
