Tools 2: Strategic Planning
Once we have used Future Scanning and Scenario Planning to update our view of what the future may hold and to choose the most likely future against which to invest, we then need to review our strategic planning. The high level steps are:
- Reconsider what role our organization should play in society
- Refresh our Vision, Mission and Values
- Develop the high level strategic plan to achieve our Mission, constrained by our Values
- Develop the Business Plan to implement the strategy
